Description

Today we finally show you the Oman4 from Burow, a fixed cabin on a Ford Ranger with frame extension.

As the first individual motorhome manufacturer in Germany, Burow Reisemobile decided already 3 years ago to install our Nature’s Head® as a standard feature. Especially for vehicles under 3.5 t, the operation of the toilet without flushing water is noticeable. With the 100 l fresh water of the Oman you can now go way longer. And as Claus Burow himself tested back then, the self-sufficiency of the vehicle is considerably increased with the dry separation toilet.

As one can see on the photos, the floor plan of the bathroom was originally intended for a C400 bank toilet from Thetford. Since the Nature’s Head® is a little deeper than the bench, it stands a few centimetres above the edge of the shower tray. This overhang can be reduced by removing the rear hinge during installation and placing the toilet directly against the wall. This does not affect the use of the toilet in any way, as the stainless steel side locks keep the toilet head off-road proof. In the meantime, some of the “original” Omans from Burow have also been converted to Nature’s Head®.

More information about the vehicle you can find here in the video of the EXPLORER magazine. It’s in German, but the pictures speak for themselves.
